Default New Rider/2nd bike

Hello all! Haven't owned a motorcycle for probably 30 years. Bought one about this time last year. Thought it was a 2003 Yamaha Virago 250, but it was a copy. Didn't notice it till I got it home. Haven't been able to ride all this year because of a couple of surgeries, and corresponding complications.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone's heard of a Yamaha Virago 250 copy called a Flying Tiger and have any info on them.

Man, did I get taken on this bike. But, you live and learn. Odometer only has about 1000 miles now, but the carb's already leaking gas like crazy so, have to get it fixed, and hopefully it'll take Virago 250 parts. It looks like it might.

I probably won't be able to ride until next spring, but am still looking at trying to get it fixed soon.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

trust me on this, sell it or throw it out.

You will save yourself a lot of stress

It will not fit yamaha parts without modification they are not yamaha's even if they look the same.

putting money into bikes like that is a waste, they are junk. More things will go wrong are you going to replace every part with the yamaha part? rebuild your bike? and that's if it fits.... don't waste your time. sell it or toss it if no one wants it. they are worth nothing anyways.

on top of that most of the knock offs are not even really that safe, they have tin frames and brakes that are usually not strong enough for the bike.

sell it, give it away, don't try to salvage your mistake...it will never work.
