Ok im here to say that i just got back from ohio and it was very fun, went to the state fair and the airforce museum. so i need a place to stay right and so im gonna stay at my uncles house, who is an old guy who builds 1 cylinder nortons. well we had spent all day welding a awning for a mower and were getting real tired, so we decided to get something cold to drink. well i ask what were riding in to get to the UDF and he says his old dnipr. i didnt know what it was so i just shrugged it off and then he pulls out this sweet old dnipr with a sidecar and all and it was awesome. we rode for about 30 mins to the udf, man we got some looks from some people. but anyways just thought that i would share that.

Not to take away from your story....but its Dnepr.
Read about them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dnepr_%28motorcycle%29 I own an IMZ-Ural.....it and the Dnepr were basically carbon copies of the BMW R71 which the Soviets licensed. Heres a pic of my rig. ![]() |
