Default 1st little trip with the Ninja - Lake Sonoma! Pics too

This morning, i finally took the Ninja out for my first real ride. I got off work at 8am (i work midshift), and it was a very nice, cool morning, so when i got home i got right on the bike and took her out. I decided to take a trip up to Lake Sonoma, about a 1/2hr drive north of where i live, and whats cool is you basically take backroads to get there, so no boring freeway driving (not like i can do that yet anyways lol). The drive was great, it was a clear, sunny morning w/ no one on the roads since everyones at work. Theres actually a lookout on top of a hill, which is where i went. Check out the pics...

Heres the Ninja parked on top of the hill

Then a pic looking down at the docks from up there where that overhang is in the 1st pic

Then to the right of the overhang is a patio thing where you can go up some steps and look over everything

This pic is to the right of the bridge

So my first real ride out, a beautiful day, and i was literally by myself up there too, so very peaceful and quiet. I need to do that more often! Thanks for checking this out, and ride safe everyone!

nice!! I love those days...You will get so comfortable on your bike that its always nice. As I recently learned though, there is ALWAYS someone on the road. I got ran off the road the other day. Was nothing, no damage, no injuries just ignorance of the other driver. Keep your eyes up and for HELLS SAKE, enjoy yourself buddy! Nicely done!

Hell yeah! Great job with the pictures. I can't believe you get to live in a beautiful place like that! Pretty bike, too.

I love picture threads!!!

That area is a favorite of mine as well! I prefer to go there during the week, the weekend traffic is a little too crazy for me. The ride on Skagg Springs Road out to the coast is my favorite ride!
