What side was it on and what is it doing when you try to start it? What kind of bike? I wonder if laying on it's side for a week could cause some gunk to flood the carb and you might have a clog now?
Why was your bike on its side for a week? |

You will need to change the oil on the bike as oil could have leaked through the cylinders. Is the bike turning over?

Your problem really depends on what kind of bike it is. For example it makes a difference if the bike is a fuel injected crotch rocket or a carbureted cruiser.

Oil may have gotten in the carbs or the fuel line may have a air pocket in it. The plugs may be fowed from oil getting in the cilinders or air filter may have gotten clogged from the oil leaking through the carbs also a wire may have gotten loose on the clutch switch bike won't start with out it being on , check all of this and let us know what you find.
