Default This made me laugh

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/898477190.html

he wants to trade his truck for a sports bike plus make them pay 6 or 7000 extra dollars for a truck with a salvage title. just because he sank money into it he thinks its worth that much. when in reality its not worth near that, you cant put the aftermarket stuff in the selling price and with the salvage title its worth even less. i dont know it just made me laugh.

Talking

i had one of those funny incidents a few years ago too barker. i had an 82 chevy pickup with the turn signals in the front bumper and one of em leaked a lil bit and was about half full of water, i made my ex girl believe that it was half empty and the other was completely dry and i needed a quart of blinker fluid, she actually went to autozone and advanced and they both just told her they were out and said to go to another parts store that finally told her i was pullin her chain, o man was she MAD!!!!!!!!!!! maybe thats why she is an ex now huh? lol

I am a supervisor where I work and I have dropped "go get me some blue and white stripped paint" about 4 times already, A couple people got confused but no one has fallen for it yet. Also I am going to move this to general discussion.

When I was working sheet metal we'd send the fresh apprentices to the steel guys to borrow their metal stretcher. They'd usually make it through most of the crew before somebody'd tip them off. Those were the days.

And yes, the guy selling that truck must have rode the shorty bus!

Kelly Blue Book puts a price just over 5000 for excellent condition Clean title , they won't even quote a salvage title as it puts it down to poor condition, maybe he is just fishing for someone dumb enough to fall for his bait.

gueedo, basically it was a squid, with a 2 month old Ninja 250, pulled a wheelie with his girlfriend on the back, ate the pavement, busted the bike all to hell, hurt the girlfriend, and wanted $5500 for the bike as is. I flagged it for the Craigs List hall of Fame LOL

Your thinking of the Squid alert thread. This was the one where the guy wanted to trade his pickup for a sport bike plus cash.
