Ok so i just put new jets in my carb and i put everything back together and now gas leaks out of the float bowls. what would be causing this?

Float needles / seats need to be cleaned, or needles need to be replaced and adjusted. Float bowls are filling too full because needles aren't sealing.

well if i increased the jet size would i have to adjust the float acording to that?

the gaskets that follow the outer part of the float bowl?

Yes the gasket that is between the bowls and carb body. Is that where the leak is at, or maybe coming from one of the bolt holes in the bowl?

the gaskets are installed and they look in fairly good shape. Maybe my screws just arnt tight enough? i dont know really
