Question GS450 Rectimfirethingie broke?

On the 81 450 the gent told me he had it running and parked it for the night, when he went out the next afternoon the key was on (thinks it was the neighbor kid) and now the battery will not hold a charge.

What say the masses?

It might mean the battery is bad, try replacing it.

Ahh I forgot...that is what I bought this for, the price of the new battery!

Yep I paid a grand total of 100 smackers for this bike...the gent had too many irons in the fire to play with this after tearing the wiring apart and replacing the battery to try and get it to start again.
