Default Ignition Upgrades

I've got some questions about the V1100 (2008) ignition system.

So far, I haven't seen anything about upgrading the ignition items.
Like changing the plug wires from the stock to a low resistance (low OHM's per foot) and going from the stock plug to let's say a Iridium or a multi electrode plug like the split-fire etc,. If so, how did they bike react to the changes?

This isn't ignition related, but I have noticed products very similar to the Torando that are offered for cars now for bikes. has anyone out there tried any of them?

As far as the tornado goes, it's a piece of trash for cars, so I would assume the same for bikes. All it does is restrict airflow, not "twist" it to create a vortex. It has been proven to take AWAY power.
