How do you adjust the headlight? I can barely see 15 ft in front of the bike and the dealer says this is normal.

if the dealer said it's normal maybe you should change the bulb for a brighter one? Just not too bright because it might take too much electric power.

There are 2 screws, one on either side of the light. Take a Phillips head screw driver and turn the screw out to bring the beam up.

place you bike on a level spot facing a wall where you cal see you light shining. Adjust the screws( as in the post above ) till your light has raised to the level you wish. I would adjust just a couple of inches at a time to see how it affects the beam. Remember that the higher it gets the more it will appear to be on "high beam" to on coming cars.

One thing you might think of doing is changing the bulb. I installed a SilverStar
Ultra for night vision. Now I don't have night vision, but you can see the road a whole lot better than the standard bulb. I've got these in both my cars and I love them. |
