Default Motorcycle Dolly

Below is a link to a product I didn't know I needed!

http://www.discountramps.com/pit-vip...ycle-dolly.htm

I have been trying to maneuver my bike in a single space, and you can forget about turning it around. This also means our second car stays on the driveway. This may solve all are problems... does any one have one that can give a report on it?

Wouldn't have to roll backwards down the ramp of my shop anymore!

I had considered getting one of these myself, the problem being as it always is around this joint - NO room! Again the wife is on a 'throw everything out' rampage and who's elected to implement polices?! Anyways, I'd bet just about real money that the unit these folks are selling is the same thing Harbor Freight has, only of course HF's is a bit less and they're shipping is DIRT cheap compared to most. Nuff' said.

I don't have room to swing that thing around. My parking spot isn't wide enough. I pull in shut the garage door. Really not a hassle to back out in the morning.

Pretty cool idea though.

Well, tell her this is perfect if you have "no room". My wife isn't into spending money right now, but she really liked the idea of getting this dolly.

You may be right about HF. I saw this thing all over the internet for between $95 - $500!!! The only noticeable difference is one model had 'V' shaped channel (I don't know why). I'm not sure, but I don't think the $500 models had any higher weight rating.

For me, I like the idea of being able to push my bike against the wall in front of the cars (in-other-words I could get both cars in the garage!).

In checking the specs between the link I listed above and HR, I see some slight differences.... for all intends and purposes, it looks virtually the same though.

I can see some uses for the dolly but it won't turn around any better with the dolly than it will on the kickstand providing it's something along the lines of a sportbike.

What do you mean by on the kickstand? Mine is a sportbike, but I'm not sure what distinctoin you are making.

Sportbikes can be turned in their own length on the kickstand which catches some eye for sure when the unknowing individual sees it done and goes Huh???

Like actually pulling the full weight of the bike onto the kickstand and rotating it? I have never thought about doing that but it would save me a good amount of time.

That is what you mean right?

Huh.... (there I said it).... that doesn't cause undo stress on the stand or parts that connect it to the frame?

I still like the idea of being able to push it sideways against a wall, although the kickstand idea sounds like a pretty cool "ghetto" trick.

Never had one break yet and it's all a matter of finding the balance point of the bike. It's really easy to do.

here's one!!! that is, if you trust Harbor Freight...

i've seen it at Harbor Freight, and don't doubt it'll work out fine...
durable heavy steel. Rollers/wheels looks sturdy and wouldn't crack, or if it does, it can be easily replaced.

the only thing that could get damaged is the paint on the side-stand plate getting scratched up.

and the best thing is that you can easily and conveniently fold it up and store it under your bed... or in your closet... even in the trunk of your bike!
(just joking... it felt as tho i'm advertising for Harbor... i'm not )

you should visit your local Harbor Freight just to check it out.

Yup, that loops like the same thing. It is probably cheaper shipping to I think through HF.
