I went to PennDot today and passed my permit test! I didn't schedual for the MSF course yet cause my dad wants to get his permit as well and do the course with me. As I was taking the test I was getting them all right and after like question 12 I got cocky and just pushed anything and started getting them wrong. Probably not the smartest thing to do. But then I started paying attention to the question and got what ever I needed left right. So I passed. Thanks for help to everyone who told me what I needed and all my little annoying questions.
Thanks. |

Congrats on passing your test!
I think it's great that your dad will be learning along with you. Just be sure to pay attention to more than the first 12 cars you pass on the road once you hit the streets! |

Congrats on passing! The PennDOT location I went to was still using a written test. :P
I'd go out and start looking for the MSF courses NOW! They book very, very fast and you may not be able to get in until later in the year.

I was waiting for you to tell us if you passed :-P If my memory serves me, in PA the course is offered april through october. I would not wait on the MSF course at all. I was an alternate 3 times before I got in, ended up waiting about 2 months for it (i finished about 3 weeks ago). Drag your dad out there and get him his permit!... I should listen to my own advice :-P

Yeah ill have to drag him to penndot sometime next week lol. He wants to do it for gas reasons. I wanna do it for fun. So I will try and get him to come next week. Where do you sign up for the course anyway? Through penndot or is there a phone number.

You can ONLY sign up online at http://www.pamsp.com/ make an account, you will need ur license #. Search for classes within 25 miles, then register for a course. I recommend you get a guaranteed seat (even if it means waiting a few extra weeks), the whole alternate thing does not work in PA this year, way too many students, as i've repeatedly said in my other posts
hope that helps! |
