I am in the market for some new tires for my CBR f3, but I dont know what is right. I am new and have never bought tires before. What do you guys recommend? I dont need full on racing tires, but something that is affordable and will last a little while.
Also, where do you guys buy your tires? Thanks. |

Metzeler tires have a good reputation, as well as Pirelli as I understand.

I ride mostly for recreation. I like to open it up sometimes when I can and take some nice turns here and there, but no real racing type stuff. No track time, just street. Hopefully that helps?

![]() All of these are excellent choices that I have had on my bike, the pilot roads got me the best mileage though I ride a Ducati Multistrada and not a CBR so the wear may be different for you but they should get you plenty of good miles ![]() |

You might consider the Avon Storms. I've had good service from mine the past two years...well almost that long.

My only tire suggestion would be to take your bike to a dealer or a bike shop to purchase the tires. When I bought my tires online I couldn't find anyone in town to put them on for me. It has been my experience that you will get a better deal when buying through the dealer or shop that will be installing the tires for you.
This may be different else where, but at the least check to find out first. |

I'd recommend Pirelli...
