Default WooooHoooo I just got a 97 Bandit 1200s

I just sold my 82 KZ1000 with 180,000 miles on it that hardly ran and got a 97 Bandit with 22,000 miles on it that runs like a bat out of hell. It so nice haveing a reliable bike, the only problem is that I can't keep the front tire down.

I will take some pix and post them on monday, I've just been so excited to get of work today that I had to do something bike related so i figured I would do a little bragging.

So the bike is all stock accept for some cosmetic upgrades. If anyone has some suggestions to beaf it up please let me know. It doesnt need it now, but as soon as I get use to it Im sure I'll wanna do something.

Alright everyone have a good weekend and keep both tires on the pavement, at least 1 tire anywase

Go to holeshot.com. Dale Walker is good people. Drag out your check book and knock the moths out of it. How much money you have is directly related to how fast you can go. See my sig line. Also holler at supermod 'Si' - he's got a Big Bandito, too. Take care of your chain...keep an eye on the tires. I don't know why but but the back tire seems to get a lot of wear in the middle !

Dang it! Need to update sig line - the Yosh 3 w/ K&N filters ain't on there! (I didn't do a jet kit).

Expect a long service life from Big Bandit, too.

Thanks for the website, they seemed to have everything I could ever need. I had it put on a Dyno last weekend and it has 106 horsepower. I was expecting a little higher, but no big deal 106 is still FAST!!!

So he says Im running rich in the lower RPMs, wich I figured it would be lean because it has a Micron slip on on it and has never been jetted. So I just went to holeshot.com and ordered a timing advancer, and a jet kit with the K&N air filter.

I'm still working on the pix, but heres the Dyno results.

I have a Yosh 3 with K&N 'stock' filter and no jet kit. No issues, always runs great, slings snot from one end of the tach to the other.

Ok guys here it is. Oh and if anyone wants to know what brake fluid does to your paint, take a look at my upper right fairing.
