Default Kobalt pickup bed tool boxes

Hey all! I have upgraded and downsized from a 94 Chev x-cab 3/4 t LWB 350 5 spd to a 04 Ranger regular cab SWB 4 banger 5 spd. It is a bit cramped. I got spoiled. I want to put an across the bed toolbox on it. I found a Kobalt at Lowe's that looks like the best bang for the buck. Does anyone have experience with this? I am mainly concerned about the box being weather proof; for all the stuff I used to carry in the x-cab. Thanks!
