Default 83' V65 Magna Oil is Light Brown :(

I went to change the oil and it came out a light brown milky with some white.. i'm extremely worried right now can you shed any light on why it would do this?

It looks like water got into it.

Dumb@** me I left it out in the rain with the plugs loose I'm wondering how much damage could be done? I've changed the oil and I looked inside everything seems fine. from what I could see through the oil filter opening.

As long as the engine wasn't run with the watered-down oil, it should be fine.

I'd change the filter, fill it back up with clean oil, run it a few miles, then change the oil and filter again.

I was told by a teacher once that water and oil cannot mix... Well they must not have ever seen that happens when water and oil are run through an internal combustion engine!! Looks pretty mixed up to me. Just had the same problem with my truck. Thankfully I was running synthetic oil. Synthetic does not break down with the addition of coolant like conventional oil does. I dont know how many miles I was driving like that but it was not a pretty repair. Thankfully just a new set of intake gaskets and some major cleaning and the truck is running like the day it came home.

I agree too, water in the oil for sure. Just change the oil regularly to keep it clean.

I'd leave the ignition off, run a touch of very thin oil into the plugs holes, then turn it over a few times to lubricate the walls, then change the oil, run a few miles, and change it again. Never can be too careful with lubrication and water intrusion

+1 change it 2 times and ok if you are sure that is how it happened. Also take out the plugs and turn it over a few times.

This happened with my friend's explorer, so it's the same idea. The best way to empty your engine of any water/build up is to open all of the plugs/ports and run gasoline through it a couple times until you see only gasoline coming out.
