Default Any current bike similar to honda magna?

My idea of a perfect motorcycle is around 750cc, shaft drive, 4 cylinder, water cooled, low seat (under 29 inch), modern hi tech looking, under 550 lbs, ABS brake.

Honda magna 750 was the closest fit, but they discontinue it many years ago.

Is there anything similar that is in current production? I'm not interested in older bikes because they don't have ABS.

I understand what you are longing for. For years I wished Honda would bring back the Magna or the Nighthawk. Last year when I decided on a new bike and looked around I could not find something exactly to my liking. I tried the new Shadow, but despite the 750 cc engine it felt very, very underpowered to me. But the Honda 1300's felt way too big and heavy. I tried the Kawa 900 but did not like the seating position. Then I tried the Triumph America. Its got an 865cc engine, is air cooled, chain driven and no ABS but it felt so right and rode so well that I decided to get it. I wish it had more torque, and the ABS would have made me feel a bit more secure, but overall this is a great ride and a great looking bike. I've always had shaft drive so having a chain is a bit of a pain. I don't clean or lube it as often as I should, so I might end up having to get a new chain a bit sooner than the ideal. One thing I really like about this Triumph is that it has very little plastic; most of the bike is steel, which is the way I think bikes should be. You may not find what you want right now, but give the America or Speedmaster a try and you might find a bike you will really be happy with.

Love the old Magna. My first bike was the sister to that, a V65 Sabre. same frames, engines were from the same breed, just styling and rake of the forks were changes up a lil.

Where u from? My neighbor down the street has an old magna in his shed that doesnt run right now, but with some love you could get her running, and im sure he would be willing to part with it.
