Default Worse things than smoking

Ok, so I smoke 1 1/2 packs or more of Camel Wides a day.
Yes, I DO know that it's probably not the healthiest thing in the world for me to do.
Just so you know, I did manage to find some things that would be worse.
  • Shooting yourself
  • Jumping off a cliff
  • Standing inside a nuclear reactor
  • Standing in the path of a 65 Watt laser
  • Fork in an electric socket
  • Overdosing
  • Alcohol poisoning
  • Mixing amonia and bleach in front of your face
  • Shooting at the White House
  • Insulting Chuck Norris
  • Not eating or drinking for a month
  • Sticking your head inside a hot oven and falling asleep
  • Voting for Obama
  • Sitting in your car inside a closed garage with the engine running
  • Going into outer space without a space suit
  • Drinking molten gold
  • Having sex with a chainsaw
  • Driving in downtown Manhatten
  • Riding a great white shark
  • Listening to Justin Beiber
  • Inviting Hannabal Lecter over for dinner
  • Taking a syringe full of air and ingecting it into your blood stream
  • Eating McDonalds every day
  • Drinking virus vials from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention
  • Riding a Harley Davidson
  • Swallowing a lit firecracker
  • Dating Lorenna Bobbitt

Anyone else got ideas to add to the list?

If it could actually be done without ending up eaten, riding a shark would actually be pretty awesome though.

I hate when non-smokers get all preachy to smokers. When I smoked it was always non-smokers that made me want to smoke more, maybe they are hazardous to your health.

Eh, if you're asthmatic all of those things are pretty equal to smoking. Although I really can't understand the desire to smoke, I'm not gonna do anything to keep someone from doing something they enjoy. I used to chew tobacco several years ago and now it disgusts me, I never realized how crappy it made your breath smell.
And since I ride a Harley I don't really need any more danger in my life.

Yes, between spending all your time riding and all your money on chrome and other fun stuff, you find no time or money to eat.

'Have sex with a chainsaw'. Wow, ADD, you thought of that before watching all the Twighlight movies? LOL

A few others you missed:
Bungee jumping without a cord
Poking the giant squid in the eye
Crystal Meth
And, of course, smoking newports

I listened to a few Justin Bieber songs and nothing happened to me.

I only smoke if I find a pack of cigs or bum off friends/strangers. But I don't go up to random ppl asking for cigs. Some people at the ski resort are nice and offered me cigs. I take it because I figured the guy next to me will feel less guilty for smoking a cig or not want to smoke by himself.

For some reason, smoking with someone is a good ice breaker to start talking with random people you don't know.

When I start working for my dad, since he said he will be treating me as an employee and not a son, I am going to smoke on my break sometimes just to make sure it stays that way. My mom's going to hate it but she needs to learn when it's time to stop the nagging and let me make my own decisions.

The effects, like those of smoking, are found later in life..

I also didn't see pounding two fifths every night on the list.. That would be worse than smokng.

Another bad thing about riding HD's.. Having to ride in the back of a group, in case parts fall off. Ultimately, a small critter crosses the path of the rider and they "had to lay 'er down".. Since they are at the back, nobody notices them crash.

Ha! Once you get old enough to ride a Harley, part of you are falling off, never mind parts of the bike.

Actually, it AINT no joke about parts FALLING off a Harley it seems.
I know someone who when he traded his VTX1800 in for a Fat Boy, within three miles of the dealership, the exhaust fell off.

Yesterday, I was discussing with Dave (owner of Starting Line, and I think it's him who keeps turning my idle down to 700 so it will sound more like a Harley) about how I should make up the brackets for the modded exhaust I am making up, and he was telling me how a slip-on on the Harley he was test riding for a customer nearly fell off. He's afraid that unless I use plate steel that heavier than the bike, my exhaust will fall off. Sorry Dave, my bike is a Honda, not a Harley that shakes itself to death... even with the engine having a single pin crank and being solidly mounted in the frame.

If it falls off, you didn't need it anyway. I remember back in 1973 I had an old Ducati 250 single. It took it apart and put it back together and had a bucket of parts left over. It ran just as well after as it did before.

A slip-on falling off is hardly the fault of the bike.

But, to be truthful the horn on my Sportster fell off at least 3 times, but that was a long time ago.

Also the tail light fell off of my CL125 back when I was 15. It must have thought it was a Harley, just like your bike Eh, A.D.D..

Overhead cams = a feeble attempt at claiming an original design.

Plastic = cheap, inexpensive, crappy.....(Did I say cheap?!!!!!)

Harley = Original, unwaivering commitment to their original design.

And anyone buying a V Twin cruiser or touring bike wanting sportbike power is a fool.
