Victorious So Cal rider
Hello everyone from sunny SoCal. Nothing like mid-80's in the winter! Stumbled across this site while looking for information on touring. Recently acquired my first touring/cruising bike (2012 Victory Cross Country Tour), and planning on taking a long range ride this spring. Before this bike, I probably never rode more than 150-200 miles in a day, and that about did me in. I can ride "forever and a day" on this rig.

And we've got a cruiser group in So Cal that you may be interested in. Folks ride a bunch of cruisers ... Yamaha, Harley etc. Their next ride is a Death Valley loop ride, which they are actually doing in a week or so. I won't be on that one, but I will be on other rides later. Other places incl. the Rock Store (near Malibu), Santa Barbara (Cold Spring Tavern), Idyllwld, Kernville, and stuff like that. So send me a private message if interested. You may want to build up your riding endurance - to where you feel comfortable with a few hundred miles in one day. have fun! distantThunder |
