hi, i just picked up a 1977 550four ss without a key. does anyone know how i can order a key for the ignition? thanks

You could always call and ask at the parts counter. Many dealers are set up to make keys from lock number.
A locksmith might be able to cut one from the lock number, if there is a number on the lock. If not, they could fashion a key for the lock manually. That might get expensive, though. Another option would be to pick the lock and replace the cylinder. You may be able to find a used one in good shape, or order new.
