Contest Rules

All entrants must agree to read, understand, and follow the rules presented below, as well as the Motorcycleforum and Crowdgather rules of conduct.

1- The picture must be of the motorcycle only. No rider, model, dogs, cats, etc. Nice scenery is encouraged. The motorcycle shown must be owned by the member who posts it.

2- Post the best size picture you can. These should be print quality, about 1200x1200 pixels. Small pictures will look blurry when printed. The winning pictures submitted are the ones that will be used in the calendar.

3- Add a brief caption with your motorcycle's statistics-Make, model, year.

4- Each bike can only be entered in the contest once. Winning entries from the 2012 Calendar contest are not eligible to enter this year.

5- Choose the category that best fits your bike.

6- The contest begins on July 1, 2012. All entries must be in by August 17, 2012.

7- Voting will begin August 18, 2012 and end August 31, 2012.

8- Members will be able to vote once in each category.

9- Calendars will be available for purchase by October 31, 2012. Winners will have their motorcycle featured for a month on the 2013 Motorcycle forum calendar. Winners will receive bragging rights and high praise.

10- The staff will have final judgment on the suitability of each entry, including but not limited to content and category. You will be notified via PM if there is an issue with your entry.

11- Post a photo visible in the forum and not just a link to a photo.

To post your pictures, you have a few options. If you are using the full post editor (not the quick reply) you can click on the paper clip icon to attach an image to the post. A menu will come up letting you browse for a file on your computer or enter a web address for a picture.

Also, if you have the image hosted someplace else (recommended), such as Photobucket or your own website you can use the image tags. Simply click on the icon that appears to be a mountain range with a sun behind it on a yellow sky and enter the URL of the image. If you are using the quick reply feature, you can simply type [img]url[/img] where url is the address of the picture.

12- If you are having difficulty posting an entry, please contact a staff member. We will do our best to help resolve your issue.

13- Entrants that post more than one photo will have only one of the photos chosen by the staff as an entry to the polling.
