Default 71 CB350K3 Carb?

I recently scooped a CB350K3 in good shape but for the gas tank that had the emblems removed and some dents bondo'd over but never painted. Hoewever what struck me as odd were the carbs are black, it appeared to be a factory finish. I'll get pictures up when I can, but I'm curious to know if this might be a factory variation, or likely an aftermarket add on?

Seems like it was a side throttle, I'll get pics but it might be a week before I can get to it. Do you have any pics of yours? Not having it right in front of me, to the best of my recollection this is what it looks like

Default Carbs

The black carbs came on SL350 1970 only. These were basically a CB/L350 made to look like a dirt bike(still had the elec starter etc.).They were good looking bikes but very heavy for the dirt.
