Default WOW check this out (Money)

It started yesterday, when my buddy called. He said he checked with Pa. treasury, unclaimed property. Put my name in, it came up with a unclaimed money, under $100.00.( Cool). I checked it out and he was right. I filled out the form online. Now send it in, and wait. I called them, and they said it was a $50.00 rebate from HP.
They told me all states have this. Do yourself a favor, go to treasury(your state).gov. Then check unclaimed. Let me know how much you get..
The way my buddy knew about this; A local TV station had a story on it.My claim was from 2004.
Good luck, Give it a try.

I did this with my dads estate. Found 1 share of Agway preferred worth 25 bucks.

Don't just check you, check your parents and grand parents too. Even if they are deceased, the money can still be claimed; however, a lawyer would have to get involved.

I did myself, my siblings, parents and grandparents.

My dad and aunt had $14,000 life insurance benefit from my grandparents, my brothers had money from savings accounts my grandparents had opened (under $100 each). My dad is deceased so I gave the information to my step-mom who did nothing with it, so I figure I'll wait and give her another chance soon if she doesn't take it I'll talk to my aunt and claim it with her. It was very interesting to see, worth the time I spent!

Thanks for the link! I told my g/f she has an unclaimed check listed for $380 and now she is very happy with me Maybe she will spend it on my birthday present this year, haha.

I check this once a year Never anything there.
I just do a search using only my last name. It brings up several in the state, none of them me.

Nothing for either of us in NC (which is nctreasurer.com). Going to search my mom; then search all of us in Illinois. Doubtful they'll find anything. I can't go by just last name thanks to Wells Fargo - I did that and got about 30 pages of results. LOL
