A friend of mine and I went in on getting a 1986 Yamaha Virago 1100.
It's a great bike for what we want, but I've got this problem, you see... We have been riding it and then, yesterday, my friend came over and started it in the garage and was letting it idle. He went out to rev the engine a little bit and it died. Once it died, it would't start. Hitting the start button did nothing - no noise - nada. No headlight or dash lights either. So, he went and got a battery today. I came home last night and let it sit on the charger for a bit and then he put it in today. Now, this bike has some accessory lights that are hard wired to the battery - and if you flip the switch that runs them, they come on. But nothing else does. Still no dash lights or head/tail lights. We have checked the fuses under the dash frontpanel - all are good. A friend of mine suggested the voltage regulator? I'm stumped. Any ideas or direction?!?! Thanks in advance... -clay |

They were good on my Suzuki Titan and I had the same problem. Check the fuse housing itself.
