Default Moped Rap LMAO!

So, I was reading a thread on another site and someone posted this. The guy is building one of these old mopeds and trying to cafe it. To me it looks silly, but hey to each his own.

Here is the thread: http://www.caferacer.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16598

The video is so funny!

The rap crap may be funny, but the moped thing is serious. Tomos and others build cafe mopeds. I had a magazine with bikes of the world in it back in 1978 and there were some incredible moped cafe bikes in it back then.

It is hilarious having someone try to act all baddass and all with them, but there are guys who like to play... I think I'm right in saying it was Scott Stump, former AMA flat tracker and current flat tracker Eric Stump, who got picked up on a ported/polished, big carbed, expansion chamber equipped moped before he was 16 and had a driver's license. Busted for doing nearly 60 on a 'ped originally built to do 20. Boys gotta play...

That is awesome. If anyone hasn't heard the song that the video is base on,
they did a pretty good job on the moped video.

Not really, it just shows that racers will race anything they can. The first ZX14 we sold when they came out was to a kid who raced mopeds. Leathers and all. He did fine with the bike although he did get "impressed" with the sheer acceleration. Later he blew up his car and had to sell the bike. My friend bought it and confirmed it didn't matter what you rode, he previously had a V-Max with some performance mods, the 14 was serious eye opener.

All I post this stuff for is the interesting fact that it does happen. Heck, scooter riders in Europe race MX on them... if it has two wheels and an engine...

I thought that mopeds were one of those things, that even though they were potentialy fun, you would not let your friends see you riding one. I certainly would not advertise my attraction with a video! That guy has a serious thing for his moped...... He should seek professional help. And singing lessons too while he is at it.
