Exclamation NO! Not Happy Holidays!

And I do not have a Holiday tree! I have a Christmas tree and I wish all my biker buddies a Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, and hope you all get to spend Christmas with your friends family and loved ones. I also wish all of you a Great New Year, be safe and be well! And lets ride as soon as this white stuff is gone.

Thank you. Merry Christmas to you as well.

To all those who say "happy holidays", look at a calander... does it say "Holiday" or "Christmas" on Dec 25?

I have an older gentleman that paints stuff on my windows at Christmastime. A few years back after he left I noticed that it said Happy Holidays. I asked him about it the next year and he said the majority of businesses wanted that instead. I told him here it will always be...
Merry Christmas

Y'all stay safe and don't drink any bad Nog.

Thank you TOURQ. Merry Christmas to every one.

I don't understand, who are they trying to make happy with the whole happy holidays thing. I know a lot of people that aren't "Christians" and they still celebrate Christmas. I guess my point is, theres WAY more people that celebrate Xmas, than those that don't, and I always thought the majority rules!

I had a Muslim customer wish me Merry Christmas yesterday and that's not the first time it has happened.

My point exactly. Jack Black was on David Leterman the other day. And he said he celebrates Xmas, even has a tree and everything. But if you ask what his religion is, he'll say Jewish.

Merry Christmas

Hate to say it, but Christmas is barely a religious holiday anymore. It's more of a general holiday, that a lot of people from different religions celebrate. And the Christians around here can't seem to figure out if that's a good or a bad thing, they get to keep their holiday, but at the same time it's meaning has diminished to the general population.

I could say merry christmas and happy new years, but that's to many words, and i'm pretty lazy, so generally i stick with happy holidays. Kind of a cover all your bases thing, and it's less words, thus less effort.

happy holidays!

I took the wife & the little girl to see The Lion King last night. It was an awesome show. As we were leaving, a family group behind let us climb up the balcony stairs before them. both my wife & I thanked them and she wished them a "Merry Christmas" and I, who it the opposite of Political Correctness said ..."Happy Holidays!" ................... I dam near kicked myself.

All this PC crap has overloaded my brain. I apologize to all board members. here is my way to make it up to you.

That's BS. There's nothing "general" about celebrating the birth of Christ.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I don't think the type that celebrate the just gimme stuff Christmas understand that it only has a diminished meaning to them. It is easy to make fun of something you don't understand.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Torq, thank you for the card and the Linus clip. The card tells us of how best to celebrate... with family and fond memories. The Linus clip tells of the coming of the one whose birthday we celebrate.

The thing is, Christmas should not be about "I GOT THIS!" or "I GOT THAT!" but instead, it should be a time to celebrate the gift of family, and the gift God gave us when he sent Jesus to us.

Merry Christmas to all my friends. Be thankful for the gift of family and love. Be thankful for one another.

I loved this movie, done by him. And 1 of very the best parts was near the end of the movie where he finally figured it out. And says, I'm NOT CRAZY!
It's @ 5:50 on the RED BAR if you know what I mean. It's about 2/3rds threw the final scene, I wish I could shorten this, buy getting right to the part but here goes! So it;s a little long!

Wait a minute isn't Christmas about celebrating getting presents from a fat guy in a red suite? Or about the great discounts and spending a LOT of money? Let's face it for 90% of Americans Christmas has nothing to do with celebrating the birth of Jesus its way past that point. It too commercialized, why do you think they start advertising Christmas before Thanksgiving now? I would say most people don't even consider it a Christian holiday anymore.

Don't think so check out this quote from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas

"Because gift-giving and many other aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economic activity among both Christians and non-Christians, the holiday has become a significant event and a key sales period for retailers and businesses. The economic impact of Christmas is a factor that has grown steadily over the past few centuries in many regions of the world."

Like that Torq....it is all about Karma...

Christmas started out in a religious way...but like any cause and effect...someone was able to make a dollar out of the idea of "giving"...it is all about how you understand it...

Religion, Odin, Santa Claus, just celebrate one day of giving (in case you are too busy to do it any other time Scrooge)...
