Default Cold in FL!

Brr, it's high 30's out where I live this morning! I think my daughter and I will take the car today. I'll usually ride down to about 45, but below that, it's just to cold for me!

That is cold for Florida. It was 65 degrees yesterday morning in VA, this morning it's 30 degrees.

It is all in your pespective. I know Florida is humid and that can make it feel colder, but it has been below 0 overnight here this week, and we have not gotten above freezing once in weeks. I ride regaurdless of temp as long as there is not snow. Currently there is lots of snow.

I don't know if I can handle temps in or below the thirty's. Monday it was 65 now it is 29 and the ground is snow covered, so no riding for me.

I think it was in the 40's this morning, not too bad coming in to work. This weekend will be high 60's and low 70's

The 10th should be nice in the daytime. I'm thinking about riding over to Tampa that day to see if any of my old used parts sources are still around. (I have a '75 Yamaha RD250 project) I haven't been to any in some time. I know I could call, but it gives me a reason for a longer ride!

It's 20 degree's right now at 8:05 am, in my part of PA (in the mountains)

The cold is one thing; but out secondary roads are ice covered. The ice is the game changer.

I put my bike up for the winter. It's 22 degrees this morning, with a high of about 29 expected. The roads have some snow and ice. On Wednesday morning the cagers where having fun getting into fender benders with the snow and black ice.

Yeah, but that did not last long ended up in the mid 60s. Riding weather is here! Hoping to get out on Saturday; been cooped up inside all week with my wife out of town on business and me in charge of the little ones.

Cheers,

Mike

True, I'm about to head out in a few minutes today. SKY Powersports in Lakeland has the Victory Demo ride truck today. I'm going to see if I can snag a Demo ride on a Vegas!
