So I made the decision to sell the Yamaha. I've got to get more experience on the Ninja before I try to bounce back and forth between two bikes that are so different. I've had it outside during the last two weekends (I had a yard sale each weekend), a couple of people asked about it but no serious buyers. I was going to post it on here and on Craigslist tonight, but as it turns out I won't need to do that. While trick-or-treating with the kids, I ran into the guy who sold it to me. Turns out he wants to buy it back! Apparently his wife is pi**ed that he sold it, even though she never rides it. LOL So he's going to call me tomorrow - we'll have to go over to the bank so they can notarize the title when I sign it. Maybe this will convince his wife to start using the darn thing. LOL

You should mark the price up, just for the hassle and storage.

Try to establish his wife as a riding buddy and you'll have someone to ride with, a woman to ride with (I assume for a woman this would be a good thing, heck for guys too but for different reasons ), and you may be able to occasionally ride each other's bikes giving you the ability to reacquaint yourself with an old friend and giving you both some variety without the expense of maintaining two bikes (or having to rent one). |
