Default WWII motorcycles

I went to the yearly WWII reenactment here today and took a couple pictures of some bikes. I'll place some pictures of the battle and other vehicles in the off topic section later on.

Those are nice, This may be dumb but are the bottom two BMW's?

Yes. The Germans used BMW bikes quite a bit during the war.

I saw a couple BMW bikes of later than WWII vintage there dressed out to look older, but I think those in the pictures are correct for the era.

Very cool pictures. Where is it that they have reenactments like this? Around here we do get some calvary reenactments at Custer's last post in Mandan. But that includes a whole different type of horse power.

They have the yearly event at: http://www.midwayvillage.com/
It's billed as the largest WWII reenactment in North America.

Great pics!! Harley sent alot of WLA to Russia during WW II. Every once in a while you will see a WLA Russian Return for sale.
