I got a huge dent in the gas tank and need to see what's the easiest cheapest way to fix.

Maybe someone can see from the pics if it can be pulled.

I wrecked the bike before I even got to drive it.

I never trailered anything with two wheels so things didn't turn out so good for me. Bike fell and hit the angle iron on the rail of trailer.

2001 Suzuki marauder vz800 blue. Really is a very nice bike but %*#+!!!

I'll post pics as soon as I get to 15...so sorry about all these replies.

You can try the Dry Ice trick.
It might just pop out!

Who is spreading these rumors about me!

My eldest Son is also a firefighter and he DOES have to fight the hot Women off!!!
8-pack abs and a Army Medic veteran.
Not one of his harem is a canine.

Try posting your pictures on photobucket and then onto the forum.

As for that dent, Dry Ice, just might work.
Start at both "ends" and work your way to the center.

Dents can be worked far easier then creases.....thats a crease.

I really dont see that coming out and looking good.

Take your bike to a body man and get a quote - thats the only way it will look right.........or try it yourself.

Sand the dent smooth then paint it red and leave it. It will soon become the new fad.

Wrong time of the year but...
you could fill it with water and freeze it with the cap off and it might just take it out.

try getting a quote from your local paintless dent repair shops. I have looked into this for one of my bikes, but it was cheaper to get another tank off eBay.

I seen a bike That had a dent in the front corner and they had some paint it so it looked like you were looking into the tank and a skull was looking out. It looked great.

Sorry, I didn't even get the dent looked at. I was going to let it ride like that until I got my endorsement but something came up and I needed to sell asap for the money and it broke my heart...I loved that bike. Since then, the money thing kinda worked itself out and I bought another bike just like it but a bit newer. Glad to be riding again. Gonna try to take my test tomorrow for endorsement.

It would be easier to have a chrome piece made to fit in the slot......
