Does the hive know or believe, that if all else stays the same, adding a fairing to a motorcycle increases, decreases, or does not change the fuel mileage?

Don't know about a fairing, but when I put a windshield and lowers on my C-50 Suzuki, the MPG only went down about 1 or 1 1\2. Well worth the extra comfort.

I dont see a fairing increasing mileage.....but I guess on something like a sport bike it may as the front of the bike without it is very square and un-aerodynamic. |

I used to have a 1100 vstar that I could remove the windshield on. Never seemed to make any difference in mileage. Huge difference in comfort at speed though.

I have a Harly bat wing modified to fit on my Shadow ACE. I get 55 in the city and 45, 2 up out in the country. I bought it this way so I dunno what it would get with out the fairing.
