Default selling a bike in off season

How is your experience selling a bike in off season periods, I assume buyers
are looking for cheaper price? or maybe do we still get the fair market value, not quitting just may upgrade possibly if things go according to Doyle..

I guess if loose in selling a bit will make up on the buying end?

A top level bike is a top level bike, regardless of season and brings the price accordingly. If someone wants a bike like you are offering and recognizes that yours is a prime example, they will pay what it is worth to them to get it.
Just make sure your presentation is top shelf and the rest of it should fall in line.

ok sounds like I was guessing..thanks

I guess just put a higher price and go from there, since we can lower but not raise.

I'd guess a lot of it depends on where you live. Here in Indy prices tend to skyrocket during the summer, whereas during the winter it's a lot easier to find people who are in a huge hurry to sell 'cause they're moving or something, but can't find a buyer.

For example, I was looking at R6's this past winter. For a mid-late 90s model in good shape, I could find them for around $2,000 if I was patient. Now, more like $3,500. But prices in Indy are pretty high right now, compared to nearby cities (chicago, cincinnati, etc.)
