Sometimes it's awfully easy to get hung up and stare a the ground ahead of you or the license plate up front. Keep your head and eyes up--LIVE 12 to 20 seconds in the future.

I noticed you did a head check on the silver car turning with you on the left. That's a good move to visually check and not assume he's going to stay in his lane.
I think this is the best tip for not having those "close calls". If you start reacting to and planning for something well before it happens, it never gets "close" at all!

great video. you werent riding your phantom. i have learned that making both right and left hand turns where there are 2 lanes i must know what the car beside may do as i have experienced them trying to drift into my lane.
