I do remember that beast now though. I would take the Atom 3 over it though. Those honda i4s can take a beating and a half for under $60K.

You know... I cannot see spending $69k on a car when I just found a nice 3000 GT for sale. Thinking I really do want this, cause I need something to replace the motorcycle for those few months that I cant ride. =/
Figure I'll get this cause I doubt I will find a nice R34 Skyline anywhere around my area.

I got laid off because not enough customers came and they hired too many people. Plus I told the manager I was only gonna work for at most a month before since I was going to graduate and move back home so I gave him the option to lay me off without feeling as guilty. The job was not worth staying in San Diego and I would not be getting paid enough to justify living away from home. I just wanted to work because I was bored not doing anything since I only had class mon & tues.
I've been working at my parents business and I will eventually be taking over for this lady who is having a baby taking care of customs stuff. But my dad is really not the one forbidding me from having the bike, it's my mom. He's just playing by her rules because he knows if for any reason I got hurt or died that my mom would be blaming him for the rest of his life. And probably never get laid again. I would still like a motorcycle, but I think a sports car like a Shelby would satisfy my need for a fun riding vehicle. I only wanted a sport motorcycle because I could not afford a cool sports car. But if my dad wants to buy me a sports car so I won't buy a motorcycle then I think it's a win win decision. I get something more than I wanted and my dad doesn't have to worry about my mom bitching at him. Last edited by JetFalcon; 07-20-2012 at 08:46 PM.. |

Yeah, ok Squally, I see your point after watching this thread for a while. This latest post really proves your point. But it really is a simple lack of maturity and personally, I'm just going to ignore his posts from now on. Just my opinion of course.

Jet,all you really need to do is get a sports car that you like and if you can put up with driving a mass produced one for now,I can help you get something better--say a country estate with your own wait staff. Who really knows, the sky is the limit.
Anyway, what you do is drive that shiny car down to the bowling alley of your choice to pick up a nice young woman -- someone with the looks and demeanor of 'Flo' who sells Progressive insurance.... Oh,excuse me,sorry about that ...... First you need to find like a regular middle class family that has a regular broadcast television in their home so you can see a Flo commercial so you know what the heck I am talking about......... So you introduce this Flo person to your parents and you tell them that she just might be "the One''. the stuff your parents offer you to get rid of 'Flo' will make that Shelby look like the crap that I drive [in comparison]. The risk you are taking is that your parents might try to pay 'Flo' to dump your sorry ass, but you can always show up here again, and we will listen to your whining and act like we care about you and stuff....... I would have advised you to get someone like 'Snooki' , but your mother would probably drop dead at the sight of her, and your parents need to be around to buy you more stuff--- and stuff.......

You are such a tool its not even funny. Ive been to Newport beach plenty of times ,also in my blacked out sub par Mustang GT and ive been given plenty of thumbs up and nods. Hell a guy in a Ferrari gave me a thumbs up while I was on my Night Rod a few months back. Its not about being jealous its about appreciating a nice automobile regardless of price. You dont deserve a GT500, your dumbass would probably wreck the thing. I actually hope daddy dearest gets you one, so your ignorant little spoiled self wrecks and sees youre not worthy of a motorcycle and certainly not a sports car.

My wife and I both have always worked hard and have fairly good paying jobs. We could have easily afforded to buy each of our kids a $25,000 dollar car. (Like all their friends parents did). But instead our kids got our old high mileage cars when they got their drivers licences. We also made them pay $500 dollars toward them plus registration and insurance costs. Something given is rarely appreciated as much as something you had to work hard for.
