Default Hello from Pennsylvania

Hey everybody.
This is my first post on this forum. I'm 19 and just got my first bike. It is a 1981 Yamaha Maxim 650. Seems to be like a pretty nice bike, but only time will tell. I just received my motorcycle license, too, about a month ago by taking the MSF course. Can't wait to get out on the road and start riding.

Also, I have a question. I had a gravel uphill driveway. How would I go about getting up it with my bike?

Welcome from CA! I'm 19 too As for the gravel driveway you could ride it up with your legs off the pegs (to maintain balance just in case something slips) or you could walk it up while pushing the bike in neutral.

Welcome to the Forum!

I would choose where the gravel is firmly packed...where the dirt is and take it easy....would say not to use the front brake and/or turn your wheel....had to go in and out of a gravel/dirt road on a week trip while in a rented cabin....
