Default The rumors are true....

Idiot cagers are a global threat.

I don't know what kind of vehicle he turned in front of, but it was much larger than a bike.

Hahaha...I saw the same clip on Dan Lebatard's show. That guy IS the luckiest man alive!

On my run this weekend, I literally had to just pull over and cool down (smoke break) after not one, not two, but three idiot cagers made a left hand turn in front of me. I was only 30-40 minutes into my cruise, and thought about just going home. I decided to continue on, and ended up getting a good 2.5 hour run Saturday afternoon/evening with no more issues.

I was able avoid any serious issues in all instances by just assuming that these a$$ hats were going to turn in front of me, and they didn't disappoint.

Defensive driving saves lives, forget the loud pipes!

I almost got taken out by an "elderly" driver today. I was approaching a 3-way intersection on the main road. There was at least 1/4 mile of perfectly clear sight line to where I was coming from. Sure enough, just as I'm rounding the elbow, the elderly driver decides he wants to pull out and turn across my lane of travel. I was watching and was prepared to drive in the opposite lane of traffic to avoid a collision. Luckily, there was nothing coming from the opposite direction.

Everything that everyone says about expecting the unexpected is absolutely true.

I almost got taken out by a tractor on Sunday. He as driving along at 40 km/hr on a 2 lane highway and when I pulled out to pass him, he came right over into the left lane and forced me on to the gravel shoulder. He pulled back into the right lane to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming car. I would have hit it if it hadn't braked to a complete stop. It's a good thing we aren't allowed to carry guns here.

Luckiest guy in Canada. You have to listen to the video and how polite the rider and driver are.

Default loud bikes

They are out in the middle of no where! I could not tell if the bikes had head lights to attack any attention or not.

he is lucky that he didn't have a heart attack standing right there! WOW!

I didn't have any close calls while on my trip, except for when I thought that maybe I should go ahead and take a break, let my bike cool a little and get something to drink. Got back onto the highway 39 S but can't remember if I had already crossed the Illinois border or not...started seeing cars N bound start pulling over and and dust ahead. Then I saw the grain tanker flipped over, then fuel tanks mangled, then the semi cab all ripped to shreds...was going to stop to assist...but there a convoy of National Guardsmen were already on scene and assisting. So counting my lucky stars for such a great ride that week...I am coming home and get off the the highway at my exit...and leaning into the turn (it is sharp) all of the sudden I see a big dump truck coming over the solid line at me...the lady behind me is blowing her horn to get his attention...he was hauling a flat bed trailer too...I pulled her up and he moved back into his lane...felt it was intentional and I recognized the truck from a local garden center so I went there later, he wasn't there....lucky for him! Ohio has the worst drivers..out of the seven states I was in....
