Another rider not wearing a helmet...our prayers and mojos to those
who have gone down. Please wear a helmet, law or no law!

Wearing a helmet is a wise choice.

Be vigilant, be prepared, be safe. Those are the lessons I try to remember anytime I hear a story like this.

I have always said it should be up to the individual as to wear a helmet or not but I can say with a lot of certainty I would not be here if I hadn't been wearing one when I crashed on a rain slick rode back in January. And I live in a state that doesn't say you have to. But I sure do question if it just might not be a good idea to help protect people who seem too stubborn to see what could happen. I hate hearing about someone involved in an accident that did not have one. My prayers go out to them.

It's unreal how many young back seat riders I see daily, dressed with beach wear..the outcome of a fall is horrendous, but people have a right to be stupid.
And yes I know no skin off my teeth...
