Hey all, I have a very high prescription and have had a lot of trouble with contacts recently, so I did a lot of digging and found a site where you can order high prescription wrap around sunglasses, gasketed sunglasses, and motorcycle goggles. I love the pair I got, I also got a very great cheap pair of swimming goggles of here.
http://www.sporteyes.biz/High-Prescr...e-Options-c63/ I purchased the Hilco Leader Circuits, and love em riding. |

The prices don't seem to be very high compared to many prescription eyeglasses and high-end riding glasses.
How fast to they deliver the order?

I use Zenni Optical for ordering glasses, and just wear "standard" prescription sunglasses for riding. My last pair cost about $20 shipped for my prescription with a dark tint.
As far as I know, they don't offer goggles or riding glasses, though.

Actually Zenni has a limited supply of different goggles. They run $25-$35 in most cases. Look on the left side of the page and select Goggles and Sport.

I kind of play the game. I get a price on-line, then hit up my optometrist. I've been within maybe $20 if not a near match every time.
The only one they couldn't match was when I got a discontinued new Rodenstock titanium frame off ebay for $20, no one could touch that. But I had them put in lenses. Wrap arounds are next. I'll probably do the same again. After probably 20 pair of glasses (or more) over the years, they treat me right. I run a dropped cut bifocal, making the bottom "reading" prescrip lower on the lens, so that it is in position for reading the gauges, but not in line looking up the road. Slick trick. We did 10mm drop, the company cut them at 9mm. They said try them and see if it would work. It didn't, they recut lenses correctly for nothing and in a week. That was four sets and a pair of new lenses ago. Like I said, they treat me decently.
