Default Very New to this

Hello everyone, me and my wife have recently decided on getting a bike. We will be looking for a cruiser that is easy to ride, and comfortable for her to ride behind me, since we'll be doing long day trips. Also, we're still pretty young so I want something fairly sleek, haha.
Thanks to all of you.

First thing that comes to mind when you say "sleek" and "cruiser" together are any of the Victory bikes. They're a bit pricey but very cool "sleek" bikes.

The Yamaha Vstar line makes good / inexpensive bikes that are easy to modify and ride by a new rider. I agree that the Victory line is nice looking, but hat 106 engine may be a bit beyond your skill level at this point.

advice above is good ... both Victory and Yamaha lines have nice bikes.
choice of what's "sleek" is up to you.

I strongly recommend that you ride that bike for a long time - before taking your wife on any long trips. her life is in your hands when you are crusing out there ... STUFF does happen. Doesn't matter whether you are two-up, or just a single rider. So you've gotta' know how to handle crises if they come up.

If you are looking for sleek, you may be interested in a "tourer" form one of the Japanese makers or BMW. Not really sure what you mean by the term. As far as "cruisers" go, I have to agree that the Victories have the "sleekest" look for me.

Agree with above. It doesn't get much sleeker than the Victory cruisers.

Default Help Using Forum

This is my first time on a Forum. Just bought a 1978 suzuki gs750 that I'm turning into a cafe racer. Here's the kicker, not a machanic, no very little about repairs. Learning as I go but need some advice on issue. Please tell me where to go in this forum site for repair questions.

Thanks
