Default Hi from BCs interior

My name's Shona; been riding about 4 years. I am also a collector . . . about 1.5 years ago my husband and I sold off some of our little herd of bikes and brought the rest to lands more arrid than the BC Vancouver area. I have a '79 Honda CM185 (Twinstar), two 1981 CM400s and am restoring a '71 CB350 twin. It looked like a basket case but it cleaning up nice, and I had a new engine for it. So in a week or so it might be on the road. Hard to work outside during the day because the temperatures do get a little high - into the high 90s F (35-40C). I took two courses at at trade school on m/c maintenance because (1) who can afford to get that many bikes fixed and (b) there are no bike shops here to speak of.
I sold my hubby my '81 GL500 Silverwing and we can't bring ourselves to sell it, although he rides a Burgman 400 because of back issues.
We parted with two Honda 750s, again 81s, a 50 cc Honda Jazz I commuted on and a Suzuki 650 single cruiser - can't remember what they're called - something 40. Cute but I prefer the standards. In the 8% of age here - I'm 55 and a bit... Looking forward to getting to know everyone and having a place to chat and learn more, or maybe help someone out.

Thats cool, I picked up my first bike and cant wait to bring it back to life! Its a 1965 Yamaha YG1-k thats been in a garage since 1968 with 2100 original miles. It runs great, just needs electric (no brake light). I hope there are a lot of vintage people here that can help us!

Thanks Badlands-4-2 for taking the time to welcome new members. I was through a bit of ND a few years ago on a ride to Rushmore - awesome landscapes.
