A few minutes after startup, gas leakes from the bottom of the bike, near the center. It is a good enough leak that I don't want to drive it until it is fixed.
Any ideas? I recently had a carbuerator service done on it. It starts up great, just leaks gas. Thanks!! ![]() |

There are a number of places that it can leak from, so we can't say much until you do some investigation. You have to trace the leak back to the source and deal with it accordingly. If it is coming from a hose, check to see if it is cracked or if a hose clamp is loose and the gas is dripping out once pressurized. If it's from one of the carburetors, then a gasket or drain screw might be the culprit - although since you just had work done, I'd lean more toward this area.
Drain screws work as a way to - what else? - drain gas from the carbs for servicing. Whoever did your work might have forgotten to fully tighten them. So if you're getting a leak in that area, check that. Easy fix. Use this as a reference. There is a screw at the bottom of each carb that should be checked. Don't over-torque these. ![]() ![]()

No problem. If you can't find the solution to your issue, try posting in the "Repair" thread to get better responses.
