Default 08 GSXR 600 fuel problem

I have a 2008 GSXR 600. It has 5000 miles on it and has developed a problem when cruising at a constant speed. When I drive contstant, the bike speeds up and slows down on its own. I am not moving my hand at all. All my local repair men can come up with is a fuel problem somewhere and they say I need to replace the entire fuel system. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I find it hard to believe that the entire fuel system would need to be replaced. (unless it's all so corroded with rust that it's falling apart)

I'm not sure if the fuel system on those is carbed or EFI, but a good cleaning and possibly re-calibration of the floats (if carbed) should fix it right up.

I'd suggest finding another mechanic.
