Hi My name is Peter from Windsor Ontario, first time ever using a forum, I have a Intruder which I ride, but I picked up a 83 V45 Magna as a project bike for my son and I to work on, the bike needs some work needless to say, trying to find parts seems to be a bit of a problem. Not an expert mechanic but not bad, been riding since i was about 10

Yeah, I have an '86 V65 Magna...NEW parts are hard to find, sometimes. Surprisingly, not always...
But, eBay is your friend! |

Thanks
As far as I can tell so far the bike is not in bad shape, the exhaust need to be replaced from the front two cylinders to the collector(mostly the collector), the bike runs on full choke only at this point but need to address the exhaust first so I have proper back pressure i think? Does anyone know if i can just tee the exhaust together eliminating the the collector all together? |
