Default Hello from SE Wisconsin

Hello everyone. I just picked up my first bike, a 1982 Honda Magna v45. So far I love it, I just need a little work getting the hang of it but so far so good. I hope to learn a lot from you guys and maybe meet some of you on the road at some point.

Happy 4th!

Where in SE WI? I also just bought my first bike, from NW IL here, maybe when we both get the hang of it could go riding sometime.

I live about 20 miles West of Milwaukee and I work on the North side of Milwaukee.

What kind of bike did you get?

Welcome, from another Cheesehead (Madison area). If you haven't done it yet, check into the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Basic Rider Course. Both my wife and I took it before I bought a bike. It was equally advantageous for someone who's never ridden a motorcycle (her) or someone who's returning to riding after a lot of years away (me).

Welcome to the forum!

I was just up in Wisconsin last week, from the UP I rode along the lake to Green Bay...bf is a Packer's fan...then to Oshkosh, La Crosse, then down to Madison then home to Ohio....

Wisconsin was a BLAST, I met the nicest people there...detours leave a lot to be desired...but the people are very friendly!!!
