Default Looking for input - Tires for 2008 M50

Hi all,

I just picked up my 2008 M50 Boulevard from its 14,500 mile maintenance, and was told I have "tire rot" in both front and rear tires. Okay, so "tire rot" doesn't sound good, and am now too paranoid to get back on the bike until the tires are replaced. I've never gone through this process before, and looking for a recommendation on:
  • What is the best value (quality and price) tires for this bike?
  • Once bought, should I just plan on bringing them to the Suzuki dealership to mount?
  • How much should I expect to pay for mounting?
  • Any other considerations, or questions I should be asking?

Already paid $320 for the maintenance, and don't have a lot of extra cash for the tires... which is way I'm looking for the "best value" (not neccessarily the cheapest) replacements.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
