'87 Honda water pump, I need one
Need an '87 Honda Magna 700 water pump ... or, can anyone tell me what other year/model water pump will fit this bike. Got a seal leaking ... thanks

Any Honda dealership can obviously get you one. They can also tell you what bikes that part number will fit. Thus if you want to take a chance on used, you can get the bikes that used the same one from the parts department at a dealership.
They probably can't be torn apart easily, to see if the seal is numbered and can be replaced? My bet is no, but I've never really looked at one. My first thing would be to contact a dealer to learn more. But don't do it during lunch or after work times - that's when there are lots of walk in customers. Both you and they will be slowed. Mid morning or early afternoon are good call in times.

Already contacted a dealer - no longer available. This is 25 yr old bike ...
And, I can't find dealer to tell me which one will also fit ... and done the web searches - no luck so far. That's why I came here, to see if any of the real bike folks can point me ... thx |

You might try here. They used to offer a reman pump on exchange basis.
