Default 83 CM250 oil and starter problems

I have a 1983 Honda CM250, I was doing a lot of riding yesterday and noticed my oil leaking quite a bit, So I stopped at a gas station and got gas and some oil. I went to start it and it sounded like the starter was just spinning and not catching, so I just jump started it and got it home. So this morning I checked the oil and took it to work (Which I had to jump start it again, cause of the starter) It sat at work all day and when I went to go home, there was a huge puddle of oil underneath it where pretty much all of my oil had leaked out. I dont have a clue what the problem is. Please help.

My guess is they are unrelated. My CM185's starter spins like that occasionally; might be time for some work. No kicker on those?
As for the oil leak, clean everything off really well, add oil and look at where it's leaking from. Could be a seal or just a loosened plug, if you're lucky.

Edited to add I realize this is late and may be a redundant post, but someone may use the information at some point.
