No, I can't take credit for keeping it this way for 26 years; I only got it in late 2010.

I will never need another motorcycle.

I still have quite a few posts to go until I can post a photo, but just picked up a 1973 XL250 Motorsport.

Bit rough and needs a shifter shaft, but should be a fun project..

Just realized I never threw a pic of mine up on this thread. I've loved all the pics of the vintage Honda bikes.

Here's my 2005 VTX 1300c, Mustang seat, cobra pipes, lots of little chrome extras.

[B]Heres my 72 CL350, plans for this weekend to install drag bars with bar end mirrors.

Repainted last winter but plans on a redo this winter for something alittle less plain.

Front fender is also back on, had to modify due to tires being bigger than stock. (I still cant believe the guy laughed at me when I told him what size I needed)

Yea the PO decided he did not like the high pipes, and opted for these.

I've been trying to find a decent set but they are hard to find, and the ones seen are about rusted through.

The current pipes are actually some one off brand of both headers and mufflers. They lack the good solid curve of the CB pipes out of the manifold, instead they have the two sharp bends.

And besides that the mufflers dont seat right on the pipes and they tend to leak at the seam.

They are planned for an upgrade at a later date.

This is what it looked like when I got it:

Got this earlier this month. It's supposed to be for the wife but the way she's been acting I might keep this one. 1983 Magna V45, finally got it running.

Hey thanks.

Its a 15 footer.

Looks good from 15 feet away. When you get closer you can see the rough edges.

I have those same Cortech bags and love 'em. You must, too, as I see they are on both bikes. I aAlso have the crossover top bag. They are going to get a good test starting Wednesday with seven days on the road.

Cheers,

Mike

Yeah, they are easy to work with and hold a decent amount. The 83 Magna and 86 Rebel ride well with them on as well. No feeling of imbalance.

My 1985 Nighthawk 700S I picked up a couple of weeks ago

Since those pics were taken, I re-installed the turn signals, put new brake and clutch levers on, and screwed up the left bar end mirror even more. Looks like I'm going to have to figure out how to get the left one to screw back in.

Have fun with that. Looks like it will be really fun riding. With that low of miles you'll probably have a little work to do but then bet it will turn lots of heads.

Default The biggest and the smallest...

Here are my two, 77 Trail 90 and 76 Goldwing.
http://website.unclegeorge.operaunit...p/brothers.jpg
Think about this....The Trail 90 weighs 185 pounds. (a bit less than I do!)
The Goldwing weighs 700 pounds.
It would take three and half Trail 90s to equal the weight of the Wing.
