When it comes to over priced butt jewelry, that is pretty ugly.

Funny you should mention that. I walked into an engineer's supply shop the other day and they were showing an old Loctite promotional video of that show. This kid had to assemble the bike in two days and if he got it right he could keep it. I stood back and watched the whole show, then picked up the couple of stainless steel locknuts I wanted.

Trouble was this kid used the blue Loctite 243 instead of the red Loctite 263 somewhere on the rear. The blue Loctite allows disassembly with normal tools, the red Loctite is for permanent assembly - you need heat to disassemble the components. Rigid frame bike, apparently you had to use the red Loctite to stop it falling apart The kid didn't get to keep the bike.

Possibly not suitable for off road riding.

I bet most of those custom bike's are trailer Queens, for the rich buyers.. I like tried and proven design when there is only a few spots of rubber between me and my maker...

They are not even trailer queens. They are display bikes for bike shows or trade shows for the companies that own them. Their sole purpose is to attract attention with their looks.

Kind of like you Sanford.
