It does pretty good. Not a lot of passing power, but it does well. It could really use a 6th gear and just a tad more power.

I bought my first bike last month! Suzuki M50 '06 model. I am kinda slackin'.....I have only put a 700 miles on it so far. I promise to do better in May!

There are two bikes in the garage:

2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250(wife's bike) - It was mine until I convinced her to take it for a spin. She claimed it as her own and sold her Versys.

2011 Yamaha FJR1300 - The bike I purchased after my wife took the Bandit.

We are going to start looking for a third bike next spring. We're leaning toward getting a used Yamaha TW200 for use at the in-laws cabin and for running short errands.

'77 GS400 guy backed out too close in front of while going through parking lot, still deciding what do do with it.
'77 GT185 was going to be wifes bike till she took the training course and realized she didn't have the itch for bikes. slowly getting it up to spec, fun little town/light highway bike.
'90 VX800 daily and replacement for the GS.

Started with a 185 Suzuki trail bike in 1975. Moved on to a 2002 Vulcan Drifter and stopped riding in 2010 after a crash/crushed foot. Looking at getting back in the saddle now. A 2004 Marauder 1900 has caught my eye. Good bike?
