Talking What else do I need?

I am looking to expand my shop by painting.
I need to know:
-what kind of spray gun to buy (im looking at a HVLP spray gun with a 1.4 tip.)
-I hear using the rattle can primer works good, am I wrong?
-what kind of clear coat that I can use in the same spray gun?
-how do I clean the gun after spraying?

I have found LOTS of good base coat paints for the color online.

I have practiced a lot with paint, and feel its time to move up to real stuff.
I will practice on a piece of sheet metal before I do my bike, and others.

I appreciate all the advise and comments in advance!

1. the gun. Gravity feed is the best you can pick them up for cheap. They sell 3 pack with a large, med, and touch up gun. With a water separator.
2. Rattle cans are ok but have 2 colors to see high/low spots. spray gray and mist black over it.
3. ALL WAYS use the same name brand base as the clear if not it can pill or bubble up or you can be lucky and it works.
4. i use 100% acetone i buy it at a hair place in gal. jugs. look on youtube there alot of videos on it

Thanks very much! That was such a long time ago that I posted the question! I use grey primer from home depot, but use High quality auto paints for my basecoat.
I had NO clue that using different brand of clear coat would hurt the paint job.
I use two part paints and clear coats, and all of the paint is the same brand.

I will definitely buy the same brand clear when mine runs out!

I have 4 different guns that I use they are all airbrushes because I dont like the fumes, but they paint wonderfully!
